The name turned up at the very first rehearsal, in 2015, when three students at West Suffolk College in Bury St Edmunds started a band.

A first EP, Spring Killing, took them to the BBC Music Introducing stage at Glastonbury in 2017 and into the NME 100 the following year. They signed to Alcopop! Records for Family Mammal in 2019 and released their debut album, Hold My Hand, God Damn It, in May 2024.

Along the way they have opened for IDLES, Buzzcocks, The Subways, Mom Jeans and Destroy Boys.
